The Grammy Museum has announced a special screening of Trey Anastasio‘s Between Me & My Mind documentary, set for Wednesday, September 25th at Los Angeles, CA’s Grammy Museum. Following the screening, Trey will sit with moderator Scott Goldman to discuss the film and perform a few songs.

The documentary originally premiered at the Beacon Theatre as part of the 2019 Tribeca Film FestivalBetween Me & My Mind follows Anastasio and his Phish bandmates through the preparation process of 2017’s Baker’s Dozen run at Madison Square Garden, the crafting of the “Soul Planet” New Year’s Eve gag—when they transformed the World’s Most Famous Arena into a pirate ship–and the emotional and often uncertain process of creating Ghosts of the Forest as Trey’s dear friend Chris “C-Cott” Cottrell struggled with and eventually succumbed to his stage 4 cancer diagnosis. The documentary also features heartfelt one-on-one conversations between Trey and his father, his mother, his wife, and his two daughters.
