Grateful Ball Pre-Party For Santa Clara Grateful Dead ‘Fare Thee Well’

After announcing an extensive lineup surrounding the Chicago shows, the organizers of the Grateful Ball are bringing the same magic to Santa Clara! Before the Grateful Dead ‘Fare Thee Well’ reunion shows kick off, you can get loose to some great music in San Jose, a mere eight mile drive to Levi’s Stadium, on June 26th and 27th.

The lineup features Fishbone, A Grateful Dead Experience: The Schwag (ft. Dave A’Bear of JGB), The Main Squeeze, That 1 Guy, Mark Karan’s Buds, Jay’s Happy Sunshine Burger Joint, China Cats (A Bay Area Dead Tribute), and Flaccid! Running from 12-10 on Friday and Saturday nights, this is one great party that will get you ready to groove!

Founder Nick Leroy spoke about the event, saying “When Santa Clara became a reality, I knew I had to bring the Ball out west.  This time…the event was to be held outdoors in celebration of the beautiful weather that California is beloved and known for. This event will host a “festy” type of atmosphere with arts/craft vendors, beer garden and local food trucks.”

He continued, “California’s very own Fishbone is headlining our event with Chicago funk band, The Main Squeeze and The Schwag:A Grateful Dead Experience.  This is a one of a kind event happening in San Jose, ONLY 8 miles from Levi stadium if driving or a short train ride that stops right across the street from Plaza De Cesar Chavez.”
