The latest live Grateful Dead video from the band’s recently-launched “All The Years Live” series is now available through the band’s official YouTube page. After using the first two weeks of the series to share videos from shows at The Winterland, this week’s entry takes us across the country and ahead in time to the band’s June 14th, 1991 performance at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.

As the band’s official archivist David Lemieux explains in the video’s description, “The short-lived line-up of the Grateful Dead that featured both Bruce Hornsby and Vince Welnick produced some of the Dead’s most inspired and exciting playing of their final 15 years of touring, particularly the shows in 1991. This RFK show also featured magnificent renditions of Help On The Way / Slipknot! / Franklin’s Tower and Dark Star.”

Lemieux’s notes are clearly apparent on this particular number, as the dual-piano work of Hornsby and Welnick gives this rendition an added layer of saloon-style swagger. Check out the newly released video of the Grateful Dead performing “Wang Dang Doodle” from June 14th, 1991 below:
