It looks like everybody is getting involved in the celebration of the Grateful Dead’s 50th anniversary. With the first two of five Fare Thee Well shows scheduled at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA this weekend, San Francisco Airport has named its flight paths after Grateful Dead songs and references. As seen in the picture above, some of the references are:
TRUKN (Truckin’), GRTFL (Grateful), TYDYE (Tie Dye), COSMC (Cosmic Charlie), HYPEE (Hippie) and DEDHD (Deadhead)
Pretty cool, if you ask us. We wouldn’t mind being on the “Cosmic Charlie” flight path….man.
