Grateful Shred has announced the details for its 2022 Go East III tour, set to take the band from its home in California through the Southwest and down the East Coast from April through May.
The Grateful Dead tribute act consisting of members Austin McCutchen, Dan Horne (Circles Around The Sun), Alex Koford (Phil and Friends, Terrapin Family Band), Austin Beade, and Adam MacDougall (Circles Around The Sun) will light the tour torch in Ventura, CA (4/22) before carrying it to Belly Up in Solana Beach, CA on April 23rd. From there, Grateful Shred will hit Phoenix, AZ (4/24) followed by a five-night run in Colorado. The band will start off in Aspen on the 26th ahead of stops in Fort Collins (4/27), Boulder (4/28), and two nights at Cervantes’ Other Side in Denver (4/29, 4/30).
Romps through Nebraska (5/1), Ohio (5/3), and Pennsylvania (5/4, 5/5) will set up a three-show run at Brooklyn Bowl in New York (5/6–5/8) before Horne and company move south through Virginia Beach, VA (5/10); Charleston, SC (5/11); and Asheville, NC (5/12). Another multi-night run, this time at Nashville, TN’s Brooklyn Bowl (5/13, 5/14), will provide the launchpad for a tour-closing show at Thalia Hall in Chicago, IL on May 15th.
Relix and PHILM will offer presale tickets to all newly-announced Grateful Shred tour dates starting today, February 2nd, at 10 a.m. local (password: SHREDICATED).
