On Sunday, Greensky Bluegrass continued their 2019 fall tour with an appearance at East Aurora, NY’s Borderland Music & Arts Festival. The quintet welcomed Keller Williams for a Yonder Mountain String Band cover three songs into their set.

Greensky Bluegrass opened up their festival set with “Old Barns” before working through “Don’t Lie”, allowing Paul Hoffman, Anders Beck, Dave Bruzza, Mike Devol, and Michael Arlen Bont a chance to fire off a twangy solo as they rolled down the line. Moving forward, the five-piece welcomed Keller Williams to the stage for a debut cover of Yonder Mountain String Band’s “New Horizons”, as the musicians paid homage to the band’s late mandolinist, Jeff Austin. The Austin-penned tune appears on Yonder’s 2008 studio album, Town by Town.

Greensky Bluegrass continued on with originals “Windshield”, “Can’t Make Time”, Just To Lie”, and “All Four” before working through a cover of Jimmy Martin‘s “Hit Parade Of Love”. Following “Jaywalking”, the quintet closed out their set with Prince‘s “When Doves Cry”, played for the first time in 2019 according to PhantasyTour.com.
