Greensky Bluegrass has just confirmed their annual appearance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. The jamgrass pioneers will perform three glorious nights at the venue from September 13th through 15th in the fall of 2019. In 2018, they played two nights at the storied amphitheater with The California Honeydrops and Turkuaz.
During this year’s expanded run, Greensky Bluegrass will be joined by The Lil Smokies (9/13), Rayland Baxter (9/14), and Billy Strings (9/15). Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 21st at 10 a.m., with three-day passes available for less than $100. For more information, click here.
Greensky Bluegrass is gearing up for the release of their seventh studio album, All For Money, due out on January 18th, 2019 via the band’s own label, Big Blue Zoo Records. Serving as the follow-up to 2016’s Shouted, Written Down & Quoted, the new twelve-track record was recorded at Echo Mountain Recording in Asheville, NC alongside co-producers Dominic John Davis (Jack White’s longtime bassist) and Glenn Brown. Last week, they released their third track from the upcoming record, “Like Reflections“.
Greensky Bluegrass will celebrate New Year’s Eve at the iconic Riviera Theatre in Chicago from December 28th through the 31st. Then, in January, they’ll kick off an extended winter tour with special guests Circles Around The Sun, Billy Strings, and Cris Jacobs Band, with stops at famed venues across the country including The Ryman Auditorium, The Beacon Theatre, The Anthem, The Tabernacle, and more. Head to the band’s website for more information.
