Greensky Bluegrass will hit the road for the start of their 2019 summer tour beginning June 27th with a show at Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City, UT. While they’re currently enjoying some well-deserved rest following a busy spring and the return of their Camp Greensky festival in Michigan last weekend, the “jamgrass” outfit took to their social media outlets on Friday to announce the support acts who will join them on select dates throughout the upcoming run of shows.
According to Friday’s announcement, Greensky will be joined throughout their upcoming run by Jon Stickley Trio at Norfolk, VA’s The NorVa (July 17th); Rayland Baxter at Cary, NC’s Booth Amphitheatre (July 19th); Charlotte, NC’s Metro Credit Union Amphitheater (July 20th); Asheville, NC’s Salvage Station (July 21st), and Chris Jacobs for two shows at Baltimore, MD’s MECU Pavilion (August 1st) and Jay, VT’s Jay Peak Resort (August 3rd).
The upcoming tour is set to keep the band on the road well into the fall months (and beyond) with scheduled appearances at major festivals including Telluride Bluegrass Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, 4848 Festival, The Peach Music Festival, and more. Greensky Bluegrass is also scheduled to head to Red Rocks Amphitheatre just outside of Denver, CO for a three-night run of shows come September.
