Longtime friends and esteemed producers GRiZ and CloZee have released their long-awaited collaborative track, “Color Of Your Soul”. The song arrives via CloZee’s own label Odyzey Music.
“It was an absolute dream to make ‘Color Of Your Soul’ with GRiZ”, says CloZee (real name Chloé Herry) on working with the lauded multi-instrumentalist and producer (real name Grant Kwiecinski). “Grant has always been a huge inspiration as an artist and human”.
CloZee’s journey to critical acclaim among the bass music community started in 2015 with the release of her debut single, “Koto”. The French producer would follow up with her debut album, Evasion, in 2018, setting up her widespread breakout across the United States and world. All while relocating to America, forming her Odyzey Music label, and releasing her 2020 Neon Jungle record, Herry formed a deep friendship with Kwiecinski that would lead to numerous onstage collaborations.
With two of bass music’s biggest names living in Denver, CO, it was only a matter of time before a joint studio effort took place. CloZee and GRiZ’s unique brands of bass music coalesce perfectly on “Color Of Your Soul” to produce a dance track worthy of the largest stages and rooms. The two conjoin Herry’s distinct “world bass” vibes with Kwiecinski’s funky and uplifting production on the song and deliver it in a package with unlimited replay value.
“It’s lush, bangin, big, deep, colorful, victorious, and heart expanding,” says GRiZ in a press release.
