For his second single release from his forthcoming album Good Will Prevail (release date of Sept. 23rd), Michigan-based funk producer GRiZ has released the track “PS GFY” which features long-time friends and co-conspirators Cherub. The song features some upbeat funk with some ripping guitar work and vocals (take a listen below).

“I originally wrote this song about my brothers ex-girlfriend but then it turned into a funky middle fingers up but celebratory and super swaggerific f*ck you to anyone who done you mad dirty,” GRiZ recently discussed with Billboard Dance. “But the strong thing about a proper f*ck you is to make sure you give them a nice condescending ‘hope life treats you swell.’”

“We’ve been friends with Grant for years now,” says Cherub’s Jason Huber. “It’s always a rowdy time pulling renegade DJ sets, deep in the music festival campsites. We are so stoked to make the collaboration all that much more official with ‘PS GFY.’ Grant’s dedication to his music and his fans is really inspiring. I’ve seen the blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into this new GRiZ record. It’s an honor to be a part of it.”
