The rumor that Guns N’ Roses are reuniting in 2016 has certainly gained some clout in the last few days, as all signs from the band are pointing to a major announcement. The story started back in August, when a venue owner in Australia pegged the rock band as headliners for the Aussie rock festival Soundwave with the original lineup, and the rumors were only furthered by news that Slash and Axl Rose had buried the hatchet.
Now, a quick visit to the band’s website shows the original GNR logo featured on their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, complete with merchandise featuring the image. Additionally, a new movie trailer popped up during earlier showings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens featuring clips of GNR music mixed with black and white screaming crowd footage.
Clearly something is going on, and hopefully fans don’t have too long to wait before the band members clue us in on the secret.
