Four-piece alternative rock band Guster is gearing up to release their seventh studio album, Look Alive, due out on January 18th via Nettwerk Records. The Boston natives have announced two special New York City shows to celebrate their forthcoming LP.

On Tuesday, January 15th, Guster will join TRI: An Improv Show at Upright Citizens Brigade’s East Village location, which will also feature special guest comedians Connor Ratliff (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Orange Is The New Black, Search Party) and Michael Cruz Kayne (Billy On The Street).

Next, on Friday, January 18th, Look Alive’s official release date, the quartet will treat the Strand Rare Book Room to an intimate acoustic performance, as well as a Q&A session with moderator Ted Allen, best known as the host of Chopped. 

Tuesday’s comedy-themed show is sold-out, but tickets are still available for Friday’s intimate performance and Q&A here.
