Today, the deluge of 2018 festival lineup announcements continues, as High Sierra Music Festival has released the initial artist roster for their 28th annual event set to take place this summer on July 5th – 8th. This year’s initial lineup announcement is topped by a healthy mix of fan-favorite jam, bluegrass, and funk acts, including two nights of The String Cheese Incident as well as sets from Sturgill Simpson, Lettuce, The Wood Brothers, The California Honeydrops, Turkuaz, Lotus, Antibalas, Hippo Campus, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Twiddle, Lebo & Friends, The Barr Brothers, Fruition, Spafford, Skerik Band, Steet Poltz, Jupiter & Okwess, SoDown, Birds of Chicago, Jazz Is PHSH, Cris Jacobs, Mt. Joy, Jon Stickley Trio, John Craigie, and City of Trees Brass Band.
Once again, High Sierra’s 2018 event has put together one of the more compelling festival lineups of the summer. Last year’s lineup included two sets from Trey Anastasio Band as well as sets from Trey’s Phish bandmate Mike Gordon, Ween, STS9, Snarky Puppy, Galactic, Keller Williams, White Denim, The Travelin’ McCourys, and Corey Henry & The Funk Apostles.
