Hogs For The Cause has announced details for the 2021 edition of the New Orleans festival, including headlining acts. This year’s event, slated for June 4th and 5th, will see performances from Old Crow Medicine Show, Robert Randolph and The Family Band featuring The Soul Rebels and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, and more.
The lineup for Hogs For The Cause 2021 also features Andy Frasco & The U.N., Sweet Crude, The Iceman Special, Travers Brothership, and more to be announced. This year’s festival will take place at the 15-acre Plaquemines Parish Government Facility in Belle Chasse, LA, as organizers have moved the event from NOLA’s UNO Lakefront Arena so that it can remain a COVID-19 testing site. Even as prospects for summer festivals continue to brighten with vaccination rollout, organizers are still maintaining caution and will operate the festivities at 25% capacity.
So far, all of the artists announced for Hogs For The Cause 2021 have carried over from the 2020 lineup. Last year’s edition of the festival was scheduled to take place on March 27th and 28th in New Orleans but was canceled due to the pandemic. Other artists who were slated to appear at the 2020 festival included Yola, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Paul Cauthen, Ghost Light, Charley Crockett, Southern Avenue, and many more.
