Beloved pianist Holly Bowling cut her teeth creating solo piano renditions of Phish compositions and improvisations, and has continued to make a name for herself at shows across the country. Bowling took her piano interpretations to the next level when yesterday she released Better Left Unsung, a second album devoted to the music of the Grateful Dead. After celebrating two sets at Terrapin Crossroads earlier this week, she jetted over to Warren Haynes Christmas Pre-Jam at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC to jam with Tom Hamilton’s American Babies and then Grateful guitarist Bob Weir who also hosted guitarists and vocalists Tom Hamilton and Warren Haynes, bassist Don Was, and drummer Duane Trucks.

Bowling went Facebook Live for the occasion:

Joining Bob Weir is a monumental point in Bowling’s career, coming just a month after performing with bassist Phil Lesh. There is officially no limit to the success that Bowling will reach in her career, as she continues to impress absolutely everyone she has the chance to play for. Be sure to check out her newest release Better Left Unsung, which you can order here.
