Hot Tuna has announced 11 new 2019 acoustic tour dates, which will see the band navigate the east coast and Midwest in December. Larry Campbell and Theresa Williams will offer support at all of the newly announced dates.
Hot Tuna’s December acoustic tour begins with a show at Bethlehem, PA’s Musikfest Cafe on December 2nd and ends with a show at Milwaukee, WI’s Turner Hall Ballroom on December 15th. The tour will also see the band—comprised of guitarist Jorma Kaukonen, bassist Jack Casady, and drummer Justin Guip—make stops at Troy, NY’s Troy Savings Bank Music Hall (12/3); Poughkeepsie, NY’s Bardavon 1869 Opera House (12/5); Keene, NH’s Colonial PAC (12/6); New London, CT’s Garde Arts Center (12/7); Buffalo, NY’s Asbury Hall (12/9); Greensburg, PA’s Palace Theatre (12/10); Kent, OH’s Kent Stage (12/11); Chicago, IL’s Park West (12/13); and St. Paul, MN’s Fitzgerald Theater (12/14).
The new dates come on the heels of the previously announced pair of Hot Tuna electric concerts at New York City’s Town Hall on Friday and Saturday, November 29th and 30th. The trio will also offer up an acoustic performance at Clearwater, FL’s Bilheimer Capitol Theatre on December 28th, which will be followed up by Hot Tuna’s “New Year’s Eve Psychedelic Party” at Fort Lauderdale, FL’s Parker Playhouse on December 31st.
