After spending nearly three months on the road on his first outing since 2021, Sturgill Simpson will wrap up his Why Not Tour? this weekend with a two-night stand at Boston, MA’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway on Saturday, November 23rd and Sunday, November 24th. To celebrate the end of the tour, Simpson will livestream both performances via nugs [livestream info].
The two Sturgill Simpson Boston video livestreams will be available for no additional charge to nugs.net subscribers. The livestreams will begin nightly at 8:00 p.m. sharp. If you’ve been following the country outlaw’s acclaimed, three-hour performances throughout the summer and fall, you know that he’s not into wasting precious seconds, so look for the livestreams to start right on time.
While the full video livestreams are noteworthy, Sturgill has been keeping nugs.net subscribers occupied throughout the tour with audio uploads of each show. Listen to Sturgill Simpson Why Not Tour? full-show audio recordings here.
Following the Boston run, Sturgill Simpson will take a break from the stage until he continues his late-in-life love affair with the Grateful Dead at Bob Weir‘s Dead Ahead destination event in Mexico on January 9th–13th, 2025.
