Minneapolis indie folk rock band Humbird has announced a 23-date spring tour with stops throughout the Midwest, Rocky Mountains, Northwest, and West Coast.
Led by singer and songwriter Siri Undlin, the band expanded its indie folk sound with its most recent album, 2021’s Still Life, after earning acclaim in 2019 with its debut album, Pharmakon. With masterful songcraft and hints of ‘70s-style progressive rock and classical music, Still Life reflects Undlin’s turn inward, inspired by the murder of George Floyd in her Minneapolis neighborhood and the insularity caused by the pandemic.

Humbird will perform at the 2023 Folk Alliance International on Saturday, February 4th before heading to Big Turn Music Festival on the 17th. The band will then hit the road in March, April, and May, with shows in Colorado Springs, CO; Bozeman, MT; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Boise, ID; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Milwaukee, WI; Sheboygan, WI; Cedar Rapids, IA; Minneapolis, MN; and more. The 23-date run will conclude at Midwest Music Fest in Winona, MN on May 13th.
Undlin will be joined by bassist Pat Keen, drummer Peter Quirsfeld, and multi-instrumentalist Adelyn Strei, all of whom played on Still Life. The band will perform in various formats throughout the tour including duo, trio, and the full band quartet.
