IDLES will have a new album to support when the band returns to North America in 2024 on a new stretch of tour dates in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The gritty Grammy-nominated U.K. post-punk ensemble will issue their fifth album, TANGK, on February 16th via Partisan Records.

Adding to a previously announced run of international dates, IDLES will return to North America on May 3rd for a show in Vancouver. The new tour announcement includes three dozen concerts, with a May and June leg making stops in Seattle (5/7), San Francisco (5/11), L.A. (5/13), Denever (5/18), Austin (5/21), Orlando (6/11), and New Orleans (6/13) before a return to the U.K.

Come September, IDLES will cross the Atlantic for another pass through North America, beginning in Asheville, NC (9/14) and playing gigs in Atlanta (9/15), Chicago (9/18), Boston (9/24), and more in addition to dates in Canada and Mexico. IDLES will then ride out the rest of 2024 with shows in the U.K. and Ireland, culminating in a two-night stand in Manchester (12/6, 12/7).

Tickets for IDLES’ new tour dates go on sale on Friday, December 8th at 9 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Fans can get access to pre-sale tickets ahead of the general on-sale by pre-ordering TANGK from the band’s website.

For the follow-up to 2021’s Best Rock Album-nominated CRAWLER, the seething Bristol hard-rocking hooligans will take their vitriol to the dance floor. The band previously shared the lead single, “Dancer”, which features LCD Soundystem‘s James Murphy and Nancy Whang and introduces the album’s stated purpose of making people move once again.

TANGK. I needed love. So I made it,” frontman Joe Talbot said of the album. “I gave love out to the world and it feels like magic. This is our album of gratitude and power. All love songs. All is love.”
