Immokalee Bluegrass Festival announced its lineup for 2020, which includes headliners Del & Dawg (Del McCoury and David Grisman), Yonder Mountain String Band, and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
The first-annual Immokalee Bluegrass Festival will also include performances from Barefoot Movement, Balsam Range, and The South Carolina Broadcasters. This free festival will take place outdoors March 14th at the Seminole Casino in Immokalee, FL. After the conclusion of the outdoor performances that evening, the festival will move indoors to the casino’s Zig Zag Lounge for additional sets from Balsam Range and Barefoot Movement performing into the next morning.
Jay Goldberg of Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment, who is organizing this festival, anticipates it being an annual occurrence.
“In an effort to continuously expand our presence in SW Florida, we are happy to enter into this agreement with the Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee to produce this annual free bluegrass festival,” Jay Goldberg said. “The casino is looking for ways to give back to the community and, together, we developed this festival. We look forward to work with the top names in bluegrass!”
