New York’s post-punk trailblazer Interpol has announced a set of 2022 tour dates that will take the band across North America and Europe throughout May and June. Openers Tycho and Matthew Dear will join the band on all U.S. dates, with Dry Cleaning linking up with Interpol in Mexico City and Molchat Doma in London.
Interpol will get things started stateside in the heart of Texas with shows in Dallas on April 25th and Austin the very next night on April 26th. Moving west, members Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler, and Sam Fogarino will head through Tempe, AZ’s Marquee Theatre (4/28); San Diego, CA (4/29); Berkeley, CA’s Greek Theatre (4/30); Salt Lake City, UT (5/2); and Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO (5/3). As the May dates kick off in earnest, Interpol will head to the Midwestern markets including St. Paul, MN (5/5), Chicago, IL (5/6); Detroit, MI (5/7); and Cleveland, OH (5/8) before a full East Coast treatment.
Performances in Washington, D.C. (5/10); Boston, MA (5/11); and Philadelphia, PA (5/13) will set up a two-night run at Brooklyn, NY’s Kings Theatre (5/14, 5/15) ahead of a one-off appearance at Just Like Heaven in Los Angeles, CA (5/21). The international dates begin on May 28th in Mexico City, which precedes a trip out to Europe. While across the pond, Interpol will stage concerts in Spain (6/8, 6/9), Portugal (6/11), Germany (6/12), the United Kingdom (6/14, 6/15), Belgium (6/16), France (6/18), and a tour-closing appearance at Landgraaf, NT’s Pinkpop Festival on June 19th.
