Iron Maiden will bring its 50th anniversary Run For Your Lives world tour to North America in August and September 2026. The 12-show run across Canada and the U.S. will include support from Megadeth on all dates, Anthrax on some, and a spot headlining Louder Than Life in Kentucky. The tour will celebrate Maiden’s iconic first nine albums, from 1979’s self-titled through 1992’s Fear of the Dark [get tickets].

The North American leg will kick off on August 29th at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto with Iron Maiden and Megadeth, before Anthrax joins for one of the tour’s largest shows on September 3rd in Montreal. The concert is set for the Parc Jean-Drapeau, home of the massive Oshega Festival, capable of hosting up to 65,000 people. Anthrax will stick around as the Run For Your Lives tour crosses over into the U.S. for a show at Harrison, NJ’s Sports Illustrated Stadium on September 5th.

Iron Maiden and Megadeth will then press on without Anthrax for stops at arenas and outdoor amphitheaters in Boston (9/9), Bristow, VA (9/11), Charlotte (9/12), and Hershey, PA (9/15) ahead of Maiden’s headlining performance at Louisville’s Louder Than Life (9/17), the largest rock festival in the United States. The tour will then wind down with shows in Shakopee, MN (9/19) and Chicago (9/22) before Anthrax returns for a show at L.A.’s BMO Stadium (9/25)—Maiden’s 25th career performance in Los Angeles—and finally a blowout at San Antonio’s 77,000-capacity Alamodome (9/29).

“This whole tour has been such great fun,” vocalist Bruce Dickinson said. “I really enjoy belting out all these great old songs, and the whole band are loving playing them too! We’ve got all the big ones from that early period including ‘Hallowed’, ‘Run To The Hills’, ‘Trooper’, ‘Number Of The Beast’, ‘Killers’, ‘Powerslave’, ‘2 Minutes’… and some of them we haven’t played in the US for over 20 years!!  Plus there’s some real epics including my particular favourite ‘Rime of the Ancient Mariner’ and ‘Seventh Son’… We are doing them all and more.  I mean, who wouldn’t for a 50th birthday party!”

In addition to the ongoing 50th anniversary celebration, this tour will also celebrate 45 years since Maiden first visited the U.S. and Canada on the 1981 Killer World Tour. This tour will also feature some of the band’s biggest shows in North America, and Iron Maiden will bring its legendary live production befitting of stadiums and arenas. The band’s management stated that they chose certain outdoor arenas in late summer and early fall in order to ensure darkness when the band goes onstage, so fans can fully experience the production.

Lastly, given the success it had on the European leg, Iron Maiden has asked fans to “severely limit their use of phones at our concerts, ideally just keeping it in their pockets the whole time, especially in those standing areas in front of the stage.” The band emphasized that fans’ understanding and cooperation will result in the best possible experience for the audience and band alike.

“So for all our North American shows we are once again requesting that fans keep their phones in their pockets and enjoy the show ‘in the moment’, rather than raise their phone in the air trying to film sections and thus inconveniencing those around them and annoying the band,” Iron Maiden wrote. “So if a so-called fan near you thinks they are special and filming what they selfishly want please just ask them, very politely of course, to put their phone somewhere the sun doesn’t shine!”
