There is a new festival battling to be considered ‘the East coast’s premiere music experience’, and it may have a solid case. The first annual Firefly Music Festival is bringing three days of music to The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway in Dover, Deleware – just 50 miles from Washington DC. The festival, which takes place between July 22 and 22, promises over 40 of rock and popular music’s biggest acts along with unique pop up restaurants, and extensive wine and beer selections.

Two of the three headliners, The Black Keys and Jack White, are familiar faces on the festival scene this year. However the third, The Killers, have been awfully quiet lately and are a nice addition to the line-up. Other big names on the bill include The Flaming Lips, Death Cab For Cutie, Passion Pit, Cake, John Legend, Girl Talk, Lupe Fiasco, and OK Go among others.

Tickets go on sale later today on the Firefly website, here: http://fireflyfestival.com
