Today, Jackson Browne has announced a number of additions to his summer tour schedule. The new gigs will follow Browne’s previously announced four-night run at New York City’s The Beacon Theatre in late June featuring support from Lucius.
The newly revealed Jackson Browne tour dates will begin on Saturday, June 29th at Wallingford, CT’s Toyota Oakdale Theater. From there, Browne will hit Boston, MA’s Blue Hills Bank Pavilion (July 2nd); Vienna, VA’s Wolf Trap (July 3rd); Saratoga Springs, NY’s Saratoga Performing Arts Center (July 5th); and Behel Woods Center For The Arts (July 6th). The shows in Saratoga Springs and Bethel will also feature support from Lucius.
As Browne expressed in a statement when the Beacon shows were announced, “‘I’m excited that I get to appear with Lucius this summer, and that my audience will have a chance to hear this great band. And of course, I’m really happy to have the chance to play for their audience too. My band and their band – these shows will be epic!”
Browne will be backed by a full band featuring bassist Bob Glaub, drummer Mauricio Lewak, guitarist Val McCallum, multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz, keyboardist Jeff Young, and vocalists Alethea Mills and Chavonne Stewart.
In addition to the full-band shows in June and July, Jackson Browne will head out on an acoustic tour this spring. The stripped-down acoustic shows will feature Greg Leisz, Alethea Mills, and Chavonne Stewart.
Pre-sale for the newly announced shows runs from Tuesday, February 12th at 10 a.m. local through Thursday, February 14th at 10 p.m. local with password: THESEDAYS. See below for a full list of Jackson Browne’s upcoming tour dates. For more information, head to his website here.
