To celebrate James Chance‘s signing to True Groove Records, him along with the rest of the talented team recorded and released a cover of James Brown’s funky chart topper “I Don’t Want Nobody”, with Chance himself on lead vocals.
James Chance is known to have influenced many different artists and musicians in the music industry, varying in different genres and generations, with names including The Talking Heads, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chris Stein.
With signing onto True Groove Records, James Chance is joining the talented acts of Tomas Doncker Band, Kevin Jenkins, Marla Mase, Lael Summer – among many, many others. Future plans are looking incredibley strong and positive for Chance, with recording a new full-length album in the works.
