What’s one way to put a modern twist on David Bowie‘s classic track, “Golden Years”? Give the controls to LCD Soundsystem‘s James Murphy. The electronic musician produced his own version of the groovy Bowie tune for the upcoming film, While We’re Young. The result: a xylophone-heavy, instrumental rendition that leads the film’s soundtrack. Listen below:

The soundtrack also consists of an original Murphy track, “We Used To Dance.” While We’re Young is directed by Noah Baumbach and stars Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts and Beastie Boys‘ Adam “Ad-Rock” Horowitz – check it out when it hits theaters Friday, March 27.

This isn’t the first time the LCD Soundsystem frontman has covered the Ziggy Stardust creator. Murphy’s 10-minute version of “Love Is Lost” was included on Bowie’s 2013 album, The Next Day
