JamFam Music & Arts Festival has shared its inaugural 2020 lineup which includes headlining performances by New Riders of the Purple Sage and Melvin Seals and JGB. The New Riders of the Purple Sage will perform their 50th-anniversary show dedicated to Buddy Cage, the band’s long-time pedal steel guitar player who passed away last week.

Taking place at Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ on July 24th-26th, JamFam Music Festival also boasts performances by Jazz Is Phish, lespecial, Out of the Beardspace, Flux Capacitor, Creamery Station, The New Motif, and Cousin Earth.
Jabbawaukee, Muscle Tough, Dogs in a Pile, Higher Education, Waiting on Mongo, This Old Engine, Cosmic Jerry Band, Uncle Ebenezer, Jeb Jones, Soular Bone, and Comfortably Floyd round out the initial 2020 JamFam lineup, with more artist announcements coming soon.
Waterloo Village has hosted many exemplary musical performances, mostly during the ’80s and ’90s, including Phish, Bob Dylan, and Woodstock ’94. JamFam founder and producer Michael Kestin explained in a press release that their “goal was to ignite the hallowed grounds of Waterloo and create a new beginning for this iconic venue while keeping the area spotless.”
