Jamiroquai Confirms The Release Of New Album “Automaton”

Earlier today, we reported on strong rumors that a new album from Jamiroquai was in the works. Fortunately for us all, the wait to confirm those rumors was a particularly short one, as the band has confirmed plans for a new album titled Automaton.

The band posted the following video dubbed “#Automaton Transmission 001” which essentially introduces the album, complete with futuristic music and imagery. Watch the short video, below.

The rumors included thirteen potential tracks that appeared on ASCAP, the publishing rights company, as well as discussion about a rough timetable that has the new album due out towards the end of March. While none of this is confirmed, the title Automaton provides positive reinforcement for what fans had reportedly learned.
