THUNDERGONG started in 2017 by Sudeikis and his longtime friend Billy Brimblecom. Together, the event will raise funds for the Steps of Faith Foundation, of which Brimblecom is the executive director. Based in Sudeikis’ native Kansas City, Steps of Faith provides prosthetic care, hope, and comfort to amputees needing financial support. Since 2017, THUNDERGONG has raised over $850,000 for the foundation, which has in turn provided prosthetics for over 400 people.

As the organization’s director, Brimblecom has a first-hand understanding of the much-needed work that the foundation does. Having lost his left leg to Ewings Sarcoma in 2005, he was saved by the generosity of his friends, family, and community who graciously donated over $30,000 to fund his prosthetic limb. It was through their kindness that he was able to continue his career as a professional musician and actor before joining Steps of Faith.

“With the help of our Steps of Faith donors, we are able to remove the physical limitations that amputees face, empowering them to focus on overcoming new challenges,” he said on the organization’s website.

Tune in to THUNDERGONG on November 14th at 8 p.m. ET for free by RSVPing on the event’s website.
