Calling all fans of The Dude.  Jeff Bridges & the Abiders are set to headline the 2014 Lebowski Fest.

The star of the 1998 Coen Brothers cult classic The Big Lebowski will perform on April 25th at the Wiltern in Los Angeles before a screening of the film.

It’s well-known that in addition to being an actor, Bridges has serious musical chops. In 2009, he lent both his musical and acting talents to the film Crazy Heart. Bridges won an Academy Award for his portrayal of a washed up country star and two years later signed a recording contract with Blue Note Records/EMI Music Group.

Hosted by Live Nation, Lebowski Fest is a two-day event that began in 2002 in Louisville Kentucky.  Since then it has taken place in New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Austin, Seattle, London and Edinburgh.

In addition to a performance by Bridges, Lebowski Fest LA is set to feature a bowling tournament, costume and trivia contests, music from the Kyle Gass Band, special guests and more.
