This news follows a previous announcement of two other Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebrations on June 3rd and 4th at Boston’s Symphony Hall featuring the Boston Pops and a similar lineup, but with drummer John Morgan Kimock instead of Duane Trucks.

These latest symphonic celebrations continue a tradition that began in 2013 when Warren Haynes toured with Jerry Garcia’s iconic Doug Irwin-designed “Wolf” guitar for a series of orchestral performances. Over the years, the celebration has brought together a rotating cast of musicians to interpret Garcia’s timeless music with symphonic accompaniment.

In 2016, Haynes played a small run of shows that included a one-night-only extravaganza at Red Rocks and a couple festival appearances, and in 2022, Seals, LaBranch, Hamilton, Trucks, and Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools joined forces with the Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks for a special performance commemorating Garcia’s 80th birthday.
