Last year, we saw drummer Joe Russo make his national television debut, backing Craig Finn’s solo band on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Finn is the charismatic frontman of The Hold Steady, and has recently been making waves with his new solo album, Faith In The Future.
It seems Russo has a new milestone to celebrate with Finn’s band, as the group will appear at Lincoln Center in New York, NY for an American Songbook concert series. Lincoln Center is easily one of the most iconic spots for music in the entire world, and Russo is certainly deserving of such an impressive booking.
