Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has outlined an impressive slate of initial 2026 tour dates, set to carry the Grateful Dead tribute act from January through June. Tickets for the shows will go on sale this week and next week [ticket information].
JRAD’s 2026 touring calendar will begin with the band’s annual pilgrimage to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY (1/16–1/18). After that, titular drummer Joe Russo, guitarists Scott Metzger and Tom Hamilton, keyboardist Marco Benevento, and bassist Dave Dreiwitz will dot the Southeast with a three-night, three-state trek from Durham, NC (2/12) to Columbia, SC (2/13), to The Eastern in Atlanta (2/14).

Then in the spring, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will change up its typical Jazz Fest tradition, playing Dallas on April 30th, Austin on May 1st, and then just a one-off at The Fillmore in New Orleans on May 2nd as opposed to the band’s usual three-night run. Later in May, JRAD will head north for shows in Richmond, VA (5/21), Asbury Park, NJ’s Stone Pony Summer Stage (5/22), and New Haven, CT’s Westville Music Bowl (5/23), before the initial run of tour dates concludes with shows in Manteo, NC (6/12), Hyannis, MA (6/18), and Portland, ME’s Thompson’s Point (6/19). The band’s announcement also included save-the-dates for Thursday, June 11th; Saturday, June 13th; and Saturday, June 20th.
A pre-sale for tickets to the 2026 Joe Russo’s Almost Dead run at The Capitol Theatre will begin Wednesday, September 24th at 12 p.m. ET, followed by the general on-sale Friday, September 26th at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Check the band’s social media channels Wednesday at noon for the pre-sale password.
All other 2026 Joe Russo’s Almost Dead tour dates will go on pre-sale next week, with the band posting timing details on Monday, September 29th. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, October 3rd at 10 a.m. local venue time.
