Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty will bring his timeless catalog to stages across North America on The Legacy Tour, a run celebrating his Creedence Clearwater Revival classics, which he re-recorded for his new album. After trickling out a few standalone dates in August and September, Fogerty has cemented a full tour with dates across the U.S. in October and November [get tickets].
Fogerty’s new album features re-recordings of 20 CCR classics, including “Fortunate Son”, “Proud Mary”, and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?”. Following the singer-songwriter’s famous 50-year legal battle to reclaim his catalog from his old label, Asylum Records, this marks a full-circle moment as Forgety reclaims the music that helped define an era.
Following previously announced shows in Mexico City and Highland, CA, the tour’s new dates will begin on Halloween in Atlantic City, NJ, before hitting the South and East Coast through November. Stops include Nashville, TN (11/3), Atlanta, GA (11/4), and Virginia Beach, VA (11/7), and will wrap with a New England run in Uncasville, CT (11/13) and Boston, MA (11/14).
Many dates will feature support from Hearty Har, the psych-rock outfit fronted by Fogerty’s sons Shane and Tyler (who also play in his backing band). Together, they will bring a multigenerational energy to a show that celebrates both past and present.
