John Legend will celebrate the 20th anniversary of his acclaimed, Grammy-winning debut, Get Lifted, by performing the album in its entirety for audiences around the globe on the Get Lifted 20th Anniversary World Tour [ticketing information].
Kicking off on May 27th at OVO Hydro in Glasgow, U.K., the tour will make stops in over 40 cities across the U.K., Europe, and North America, including shows at The O2 in London, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Accor Arena in Paris, Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and Barclays Center in New York, with more dates to be announced.
Each night will see Legend perform deep cuts and fan favorites from Get Lifted, which garnered eight nominations and won three Grammy Awards at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards, including his breakout hit “Ordinary People” (which won Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and reached Double Platinum status as a single), “Used to Love U”, “Number One”, and “So High”, as well as other hits from throughout his career.

To celebrate the tour announcement, John Legend recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as both a talk and musical guest. Scroll down to watch him chat with host Jimmy Fallon about the tour and playing piano on Lauren Hill’s debut album, sing pop songs like Sabrina Carpenter‘s “Espresso” after running the lyrics through Google Translate, and perform “Used to Love U” alongside The Roots and Black Thought, who appeared on a remixed version of the song the recently released digital deluxe and 3LP vinyl editions of Get Lifted (20th Anniversary).
The special 20th anniversary edition also features new contributions from other guest artists including Tems, Killer Mike, Lil Wayne, and Simi, as well as eight brand-new remixes, rare B-sides, and two previously unreleased studio performances recorded during the original Get Lifted sessions.
