John McLaughlin To Guest With The Aquarium Rescue Unit In June

Prior to their full fledged tour that kicks off July 29th, the Aquarium Rescue Unit will come together for a one-off celebration. They’ll be headlining the 30th anniversary party for Paul Reed Smith (PRS) guitars, and performing with them will be PRS himself, along with his band.

Aquarium Rescue Unit is comprised of Col. Bruce Hampton, Oteil Burbridge, Jimmy Herring, Jeff Sipe and Matt Slocum. For this one performance on June 5th, they’ll be joined by renowned guitarist John McLaughlin, making this a certain night to remember.

ARU kicks off their tour in full with a show in Boulder, CO on July 29th, before wrapping around the country and playing the Brooklyn Bowl on August 16th. More information about the tour can be seen here.
