Widespread Panic keyboardist JoJo Hermann will release a studio album with his solo band, Slim Wednesday. Titled Reptile Show, the recored is due out on April 3rd via Gemco Records, with Spotify and iTunes releases coming on April 6th.
Slim Wednesday will also hit the road this fall for a series of tour dates through the Southeast. The group—comprised of Hermann (keys), Greg Bryant (bass), Kevin Mabin (drums), Jonathan Jackson (sax), Ben Clark (trumpet), and Bill Elder (guitar)—specializes in New Orleans-style funk and has been playing shows since early 2016. Many of its members also perform in Nashville band The Dynamites.
