Iconic singer/songwriter Joni Mitchell was hospitalized two days ago, and according to recent updates, she is apparently “awake and in good spirits.” The following was posted to her JoniMitchell.com Twitter account last night:
Joni is currently in intensive care in an LA area hospital but is awake and in good spirits. More updates to come as we hear them.

Mitchell was hospitalized on Tuesday (March 31st) afternoon, after she was found unconscious within her home. She was rushed to an intensive care unit, where she still remains, though the most recent update is very optimistic. We’re sending our best to Mitchell and her loved ones.
