Grammy-winning vocal powerhouse, firebrand guitarist, and brilliant songwriter Judith Hill will hit the road this fall, launching a U.S. tour on September 30th. Known for blending soul, rock, funk, and raw emotional storytelling, Hill will be joined by her parents and longtime bandmates to deliver performances as intimate as they are electrifying. With over 500 shows already to her name, Hill will bring her latest musical chapter across the country.
Her 2025 fall itinerary kicks off September 30th at the Sellersville Theater in Pennsylvania before rolling into an intimate night at New York’s Café Wha? and a pair of shows at City Winery outposts in Pittsburgh and Chicago, along with a few other Northeast dates. From there, Hill will bring her band westward for a string of notable stops, including Tucson’s 191 Toole, Phoenix’s Musical Instrument Museum, and a two-show run at Oakland’s celebrated Yoshi’s.
Along the way, she’ll also hit Portland’s Alberta Rose Theatre and Bend’s Tower Theater before wrapping the tour on November 16th at Seattle’s Crocodile, a fitting finale in one of the country’s most iconic rock clubs. Throughout the run, Hill will breathe life into the powerful, introspective songs of her latest album, Letters From a Black Widow (2024), while weaving in fan-favorite classics.
Tickets for Judith Hill’s upcoming tour are on sale now on Ticketmaster and her website. Scroll down for a full list of tour dates.
A Los Angeles native, Hill is the daughter of funk bassist Robert “Pee Wee” Hill and keyboardist Michiko Hill (née Yoshimura), whose home studio (Master’s Crib) became the creative workshop where she first honed her craft. Over the years, her résumé has included duets with Michael Jackson, stints with Prince (who produced her debut solo release, 2015’s Back in Time), and collaborations with legends like Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Elton John, John Legend, Spike Lee, and others.
She gained early public visibility through her unforgettable rendition of “Heal the World” at Jackson’s memorial service and her feature in the acclaimed documentary 20 Feet from Stardom. On top of her storied background career, she’s steadily built a solo identity during her roughly two decades in music.
Before the tour begins, on September 29th, Hill will join Kenny Lattimore, Mindi Abair, Danny Seraphine, and Tony Grant at Seattle’s Jazz Alley for In Concert For Cancer‘s 14th annual benefit concert, celebrating the music of Stevie Wonder. The event has already sold out, but fans can still donate to support cancer research here.
