Julien Baker has released the second single which will appear on her forthcoming Little Oblivions studio album.

Entitled “Hardline”, the new recording shared via Matador Records on Wednesday follows the album’s lead track “Faith Healer”, and hears Baker continue to expand her usually-melancholic songwriting style in the form of a heavier power ballad. The song’s soft opening fueled by eerie organ lines and subtle string accompaniments is quickly given some added power with the emergence of the drum parts, giving Baker’s trademark vocals some much-needed adrenaline through the end.
