Kalya Scintilla and Bird of Prey are bringing their The Divine Alignment Tour to NYC October 24th. The show will take place at the nightclub/venue SLAKE, located on 251 W. 30th Street.
Kalya Scintilla, a DJ originally from Australia, finally returns to America to tour after he was denied entry into the states back in October 2012 for not having an entertainment visa. Scintilla’s music is a mix of glitch dub and tribal psychedelic goodness…a kind of raw electronica that pairs well with personal creative expression and self exploration. His music has been awakening audiences by creating an ancient jungle-like atmosphere with each of his performances. Kalya Scintilla’s shows are much more than a typical DJ set… it is an experience.
Bird of Prey hails from San Francisco and has been bringing heavy bass and trippy leads to the electronic music scene for the past decade. He has developed his sound into a complex type of psy-trance that blends current music trends with unrefined elements…a mix of cultural composition and booming artificial dubstep.
Joining the psychedelic DJ duo will be Desert Dwellers and Kaminanda. All the artists have share the similar theme of psychedelic dub.  The show goes from 10pm-4am and tickets are available for $15 advance/$20 at the door. Attendees must be 21 or older.
