Kanye West resumed his Sunday Service performance series this past weekend, where the rapper and third party presidential hopeful appeared to walk on water alongside his choir and children. This Sunday Service performance, the latest in Ye’s series of exclusive spectacles hip-hop and gospel music, also featured a sermon from televangelist Joel Osteen.

West had revived his Sunday Service in mid-August on his ranch in Wyoming, nothing that all safety precautions were taken. This past Sunday’s event took place in Fayetteville, GA’s Pinewood Forest and hosted nearly 150 guests, including rapper 2 Chainz.

The highlight of the event came as West and his choir of gospel singers utilized a platform that created the visual illusion of walking appeared across a small pond as they sang. West was seen walking on the surface of the water with his two children, seven-year-old daughter North and four-year-old son Saint. Meanwhile his wife, Kim Kardashian West, took photos and videos that were shared on her social media account.

Prior to this stunt, preacher Joel Osteen delivered a gospel reading where he told the Biblical story of Jesus walking across the water with his disciple Peter. In his sermon, Osteen praised West’s “inventiveness” and willingness to do the seemingly impossible.

I think we all have that at times in life where we think, “God’s telling me to do something. I’m feeling down on the inside,” but we don’t feel qualified. We don’t have the experience. I can’t sing like them. I can’t invent like Kanye. But God doesn’t put a dream in your heart and then not give you the ability to do it. I’ve learned in life, you have to choose between your comfort and your calling.

The Daily Mail reports that the feat was achieved by placing a translucent platform just beneath the surface of the pond.
