On Saturday night in Los Angeles, the Weeknd performed at the Forum. Fans were treated to a surprise guest appearance from Kendrick Lamar, who emerged from beneath the stage and immediately into his verse on the Weekend’s “Sidewalks” from the 2016 Starboy album. From there, Lamar performed “HUMBLE.” from his most recent masterpiece DAMN.

If you haven’t yet listened to Kendrick’s new album, sleep no more. It’s artistic, it’s complex, it’s got a few surefire radio hits to boot, and will undoubtedly be on repeat for the foreseeable future. The album’s contributors include Rihanna, U2, and LA-based Zacari. Additionally, James Black, BadBadNotGood, and The Alchemist have all received credits, with production credits to Mike WiLL Made It on a number of tracks.
