It’s been comforting seeing musicians’ quarantine videos flood the Internet as coronavirus lockdowns continue. Seeing the artists we love play some music from the solitude of their homes has helped maintain a connection between the musicians who are currently not allowed to perform and the fans who are not allowed to leave home to see them. In a new video posted on The MuppetsYouTube channel this week, Kermit the Frog gets in on the new at-home video trend with a self-isolated performance of his seminal hit, “Rainbow Connection”.

Much like many of the videos we’ve seen pop up over the last month, the clip begins with Kermit, trusty banjo in hand, turning on his camera and settling into his seat in his “yard” for the performance. After finishing and taking a few deep breaths of fresh air and enjoy the sounds of the babbling brook behind him, Kermit walks up to the camera to shut it off. I don’t know about you, but it was just what I needed today. We’ll get through this, Kermit.
