Khruangbin has announced a new crop of March 2022 tour dates in honor of guitarist Mark Speer‘s birthday today, November 9th. Additionally, the Houston-bred trio has added a number of dates to its April 2022 European trek.
The newly added stretch of dates will begin in the Midwest on March 2nd, 2022 in Madison, WI before continuing to St. Paul, MN (3/3) and Chicago, IL (3/5). Khruangbin will then head to the Northeast for the band’s previously announced, two-night stand at Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY (3/9, 3/10). The tour will then roll through Washington, D.C. (3/11) and Pittsburgh, PA (3/12); stop for two nights at Nashville, TN’s Ryman Auditorium (3/14, 3/15); head north to Boston, MA (3/17, 3/18); and finally close out at The Met in Philadelphia, PA (3/19). The U.S. dates will feature support from Nubya Garcia.
After a few weeks off, Khruangbin will pick back up with a European tour featuring stops in Paris (4/4), Zurich (4/5), Berlin (4/7), Stockholm (4/9), Copenhagen (4/10), Amsterdam (4/12), Manchester (4/16), and more.

The announcement comes on what is informally known as “Marko Day,” which the band noted in a tongue-in-cheek press release is “traditionally celebrated with an extended lunch hour and drinks service to close.”
A pre-sale for members of the band’s Khru Club begins on Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time for all newly announced dates. Members should check their emails for a pre-sale access code.
