Khruangbin has announced a number of additional 2022 tour dates billed as part of the previously announced Space Walk Tour.
Newly announced stops include Lewiston, NY; Toronto, ON; Brooklyn, NY; Portland, ME; New Haven, CT; Las Vegas, NV; Mesa, AZ; Santa Fe, NM; and Mexico City, MX.
The tour is set to begin in late April following a previously announced run of spring concerts in Europe and the U.K. and will now run through late October. The Khruangbin Space Walk Tour will feature support from Toro y Moi, Men I Trust, Vieux Farka Touré, Genesis Owusu, and Pachyman at select shows.
Toro y Moi will join Khruangbin on tour beginning on Friday, April 29th in Cincinnati, OH and Saturday, April 30th in Asheville, NC. The run will continue from there with shows in Charlotte, NC (5/3); Richmond, VA (5/4); North Charleston, SC (5/5); and Miami Beach, FL (5/7) ahead of a hometown performance on Wednesday, May 11th at Houston’s 713 Music Hall.

Men I Trust will take over opening duties from there as the tour heads west for amphitheater shows in Bend, OR (7/7); Vancouver, BC (7/8); Troutdale, OR (7/9); Redmond, WA (7/10); Bonner, MT (7/12); and Boise, ID (7/13). The Space Walk Tour will continue from there with Khruangbin’s return to The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA on Saturday, July 16th and Sunday, July 17th.
After performances at Montreal’s Osheaga Festival (7/30) and Detroit’s Mo Pop Festival (7/31), Mark Speer, Laura Lee, and Donald Johnson will head out to a run of five newly announced shows at Lewiston, NY’s Artpark Amphitheatre (8/1); Toronto, ON’s RBC Echo Beach (8/2); Brooklyn, NY’s BRIC’s Celebrate Brooklyn! at Prospect Park (8/4, with Vieux Farka Touré); Portland, ME’s Thompson’s Point (8/5); and New Haven, CT’s Westville Music Bowl (8/6).
Festival slots at Vineyard Haven, MA’s Beach Road Weekend, Bridgeview, IL’s Sacred Rose, and Los Angeles, CA’s Primavera Sound LA in late August and September will then lead Khruangbin into four more newly announced Space Walk Tour dates. First, Genesis Owusu will join on as support for shows at Las Vegas, NV’s Brooklyn Bowl (9/2); Mesa, AZ’s Mesa Amphitheater (10/1); and Santa Fe, NM’s Santa Fe Opera (10/2). Then, on October 28th, Khruangbin will hit the stage at Mexico City, MX’s Pepsi Center WTC for a performance featuring support from Pachyman.
The Houston-based trio has risen to global acclaim with its dreamy instrumental grooves, singular aesthetic, and difficult-to-define, psychedelic-funk style. Khruangbin recently released Texas Moon, its second collaborative album with singer Leon Bridges, and performed a number of high-profile shows including a two-night run at New York’s famed Radio City Music Hall.
