Australian psych-rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will host the Gizzverse Record Fair at their upcoming show at New York City’s Forest Hills Stadium on Friday, October 21st. Fans will have the chance to buy “bootlegs, test pressings, limited edition variants, warehouse finds & other rarities galore, plus a limited edition tote bag.”
The King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard Gizzverse Record Fair will take place within the stadium grounds when doors open at 5:30 p.m., so a ticket to the show, which will feature support from black midi and Leah Senior, is required. Tickets are still available here.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard recently announced plans to release three new albums in October, bringing the band’s total output to a staggering 23 full-length studio albums, plus an additional 14 live albums, three compilations, and three EPs. They shared details of the projects along with the first preview, a video for the single “Ice V“, earlier this month. All three albums are currently available for preorder via Gizzverse.com.
Last month, the band was forced to cancel its remaining European and U.K. tour dates as frontman Stu Mackenzie addressed a health emergency related to his Crohn’s disease. The band is set to return to the stage on September 30th at Desert Daze in Perris, CA. For tickets and a full list of tour dates, visit the band’s website.
