Progressive electro-jazz duo KNOWER has shared a new video for their original tune, “Different Lives”, which first appeared as an abbreviated version on 2018’s Life and has since been officially released as a stand-alone single last month.
Comprised of drummer/Thundercat collaborator Louis Cole and singer Genevieve Artadi, KNOWER pulls a page from their live performance setup for the video, which typically features well-produced visual scenes by way of a projector shining onto the stage. The video sees both Cole and Artadi standing side-by-side at their respective microphones as psychedelic imagery themed around nature and picturesque geographical settings is projected onto them and their all-white backdrop.
KNOWER‘s Bandcamp describes the ethereal original as, “A song about seeing your friends in dreams.” Watch the new visually stimulating video for “Different Lives” below.
