LaMP, the soul groove trio featuring Soule Monde/Trey Anastasio Band keyboardist Russ Lawton and drummer Ray Paczkowski and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead guitarist Scott Metzger, capped off its fall tour on Saturday at The Drake in Amherst, MA.

After boogieing up the East Coast with stops in Washinton, D.C., Charlottesville, VA, and Asbury Park, NJ, the instrumental jam trio arrived in their native New England primed and ready to deliver two thrilling sets of high-energy jazz, including songs from the band’s 2020 self-titled debut album, which they recently re-released, and beyond.
