LaMP, the soul groove trio featuring Russ Lawton and Ray Paczkowski of Trey Anastasio Band and Soule Monde alongside Scott Metzger of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, stopped at The Homestead in Morristown, NJ on Sunday for an evening of high-energy funk-jazz.

The band is currently in the midst of its spring tour, which is set to run through the end of April. Trey Anastasio’s parents, Dina Anastasio and Ernest Anastasio Jr., were in attendance, apparently having gotten word that LaMP is one of the hottest live acts currently touring. The rest of New Jersey must have also heard, because the intimate 700-cap venue was packed and abuzz with excitement.

LaMP also recently announced a two-night stand at Nectar’s in Burlington, VT on June 5th and 6th. For a full list of upcoming tour dates and to purchase tickets, visit the band’s website.
